Manama, Bahrain: police used tear gas in protests
In latest events in Manama Bahrains capital, police decided that they need to use tear gas agains anti goverment protests.
Protesters angered by the killing of two demonstrators by security forces earlier this week. After largely leaving the protesters alone for the past two days, hundreds of white-helmeted police swarmed the roundabout about 3:30 a.m. Thursday
The square, where thousands of people had been, an hour after police moved in, it was largely empty except for police.
It wasn’t known where the protesters had gone, but police forces were still involved in moving the demonstrators further from the square.
