The shift of the narrative…
As usual, the leader of the Free World is setting a superb example of what to do in times of a pandemic…mask and all.
Let’s be real here for a second…COVID has not been fun for any of us, young, old, alien, even mermaids underwater.
No matter where you come from, or what you believe in, it hasn’t been an easy ride (minus you…fellow billionaires that profited obscene amounts in the last year).
No, all things aside, let’s just take a moment to take a glance at what really happened in the last year and how we are right where we are in North America.
First and foremost, our wonderful overlords (the politicians) promised a 2-week lockdown just to flatten the curve as was needed for the greater public good.
Sounds familiar?
Of course, it does and we did just that.
The degree to which they worked is still being analyzed and for the purposes of this topic, we will set that aside.
Strict public measures were utilized such as masks and the sanitization of literally everything around us, yes even Grandma Jane’s walker who hasn’t left her house in a year, as to stop the spread of the virus.
Now you might be asking yourselves, where am I going with all of this?
See, there has been an issue that hasn’t been adequately addressed. First and foremost, states and provinces enforced the mask mandate to a degree.
See, masks are required to enter most places, whether it be business, place of worship, or even little Timmy’s daycare center, required a face mask of any kind.
Now your mask could’ve been those surgical grade masks, or it could’ve been just a simple cloth mask or even a scarf.
That means that while the overall number of cases that have been seen actively around the world have been dropping despite having literally a plastic bag covering their mouth and nose, the CDC comes out and says now that double masking is required to “stop the spread”.
How is it that Dr.Fauci, the supreme being hailed as the equivalent of the Pope of modern-day medicine and virology said just one year ago that masks are not required, followed by just one, and now two?
Where does it end people? China at no point had the double mask mandate and had a 100,000 person attendance for New Year’s Eve.
Let’s think for a second here. Someone who is a laborer, or perhaps an asthmatic, already finds that one mask sort of hard to deal with even in the best of scenarios.
Now just add another mask on top and see how well that goes for those people, let alone everyone else.
Now, I’m not saying that masks are inherently bad, however, you’d have to be damn near inert to actually not sweat through a shirt even just by walking 10 feet down the road.
In all fairness, the flip-flopping of our overlords is rather annoying and seemingly endless.
Fauci follows suit by using the useless cloth mask covering his regular medical mask.
