It followed this up by sending billions more to help fund the war effort in Ukraine. (There are countless other tax-funded vanity projects, like Windsor’s electric vehicle plant, which opted to hire foreign workers despite receiving numerous federal grants.)
While the average Canadian struggles to get ahead, the growth of our public bureaucracy continues to outpace the private sector — fueled by ever-growing budget deficits, which only promise to further increase the burden on taxpayers.
