Case in point: Liberal businessman Frank Baylis, the same man embroiled in one of the most flagrant conflicts of interest scandals in recent memory.
Baylis is a former Liberal MP at the centre of a major controversy involving his company, Baylis Medical, which received a $237 million sole-sourced contract to produce ventilators during COVID-19 — just another sweetheart deal for a Liberal insider.
If ripping off Canadians on the price of these ventilators wasn’t enough, Baylis was also awarded a $4 million contract to maintain them.
And just to show what a complete waste of taxpayer funding that was, many of those ventilators ended up completely unused while others were sold for scrap metal at laughable prices.
With his track record, maybe Baylis is the right guy to lead Trudeau’s corrupt party — the same party that brought us the WE Charity scandal, Arrivescam, and SNC-Lavalin.
