Big line-ups await the iPad 2 big opening

The lines are huge as people in Boston and New York line up to purchase the new and improved iPad 2 from Apple. Consumers came out in droves braving the weather conditions to get the first glimpse of the iPad 2. Fifth Avenue was the scene of very crowded streets around 5pm eastern time, which was the scheduled launch time for Apples proud new touch pad.

The line was massive and stretched for a long city block. The new iPad with its sleek and thinner design will prove to be the much awaited upgrade to the iPad that was delivered at the same place just last April with lines that were just as long. With the upgrade in processer speeds and better performance many buyers are hopping they will not have to wait in line next year for a newer model to arrive.
